I stopped in for the first time to find out what they would buy an ounce of gold for. They wouldn’t give me a general idea without actually bringing in a piece of gold. I just wanted to know if they had a percentage of Spot that they use to calculate. So I drove home and went back with some gold and sliver. For those of you wondering they quoted me 2.5% below spot on gold and 5% below spot on silver. They could’ve easily just told me it would be in that range.
Wonderful group of people to deal with, fair enough for my items. As I declutter, I may be back.
Would never do business with these people again got myself into a bad financial situation caused by my own bad judgment and they talked about and demean me it was bad enough asking for loans that I always paid….I can’t remember the guys name but he told me we still like you even if we don’t make another red cent off you 😂 I hate pawn shops and will never get into a position where I have use them again!
I had a great experience here. I brought my wedding band (white gold) and engagement ring (white gold with .75 carat princess cut diamond) (I’m divorced), two beautiful necklaces (white gold with a beautiful amethyst in one and a lovely blue topaz in the other), and a pair of white gold diamond chip earrings. Hands down the best pawn shop in Illinois! The customer support from the team is impeccable. I was in a worry when I had an issue with my watch. Not only was the watch repaired to perfection but the price was honest. I couldn’t be more impressed with this company and when I returned I finished my Christmas shopping.
